Bungie meldet sich zum Thema HD-Auflösung

Bereits gestern berichteten wir über enthusiastische Spieler, die festgestellt haben, dass Halo 3 nicht in nativer HDTV Auflösung läuft, sondern in der Horizontalen 80 Pixel fehlen (Vertikal etwas mehr). Jetzt meldete sich Bungie zu Wort.

In Ihrem weekly Update haben sie sich zu der Tatsache gestellt, dass Halo 3 wirklich nur in 640p läuft und damit nicht einmal die kleine HDTV-Auflösung ausgibt, von 1080p mal ganz zu schweigen.

Man habe sich lieber dazu entschlossen auf ein paar Pixel zu verzichten, als HDR Effekte zu streichen, letztere hätten die Grafik mehr verschlechtert als die jetzige Lösung.
