Erst kürzlich wurde die PSP Version des Spiels bestätigt. Nun kommt "Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars" auch für das iPhone und den iPod Touch auf den Markt. Die Umsetzung soll noch im Herbst erhältlich sein.
Der erste GTA-Ableger für den Nintendo DS orientiert sich an den allerersten "Grand Theft Auto"-Teilen, die noch aus der Vogelperspektive gespielt wurden. Ansonst bekommt man die gewohnten Zutaten, die die Gangsterpersiflage so berühmt gemacht hat.
