Eines der wohl bekanntesten und beliebtesten Familienspiele auf PC und Mac hält nun auch in die Konsolenwelt Einzug. "Free Realms" kommt nun endlich nach der Ankündigung im Jahr 2009 auch auf die PS3.
Sony Online Entertainment hofft, dass "Free Realms" in die Fussstapfen von DCUO tritt und einen ähnlichen Erfolg des MMO-Genres auf der Konsole hinlegt.
In einer Pressemitteilung sagte CEO John Smedley Folgendes:
"Our games extend the current lifecycle of the console with the added value offer of bringing tens of thousands of people together, in a game world, to socialize at community events, compete in combat activities and engage in a diversity of gameplay experiences, for years to come"
Wie es scheint liegt die Zukunft nicht nur in Crossgenres sondern auch im Platform-Crossing.
