Stoic und Versus Evil haben bekannt gegeben, dass das Taktik-Rollenspiel "The Banner Saga 2" am 19. April 2016 für den PC und Mac erscheinen wird. Der zweite Teil konzentriert sich auf die Stärken des Vorgängers und lässt uns wichtige Entscheidungen treffen. Es gibt verbesserte Rundenkämpfe, eine grössere Gegnervielfalt, Storyabschnitte in Kämpfen und verschiedene Siegbedingungen. Um den Soundtrack kümmert sich wieder Austin Wintory. Wann "The Banner Saga 2" für die Xbox One und die PlayStation 4 erscheinen wird, ist unklar.
