Im September 2016 wird ein neues Update für "Rocket League" erscheinen, das den neuen Rumble-Modus enthält. Dieser zeigt sich im Trailer.
Psyonix hat bestätigt, dass im September 2016 ein neues Update für "Rocket League" erscheinen wird. Das wird den kostenlosen Rumble-Modus enthalten, ganz im Stil von "Battle Royale". In dem neuen Spielmodus erhält man zufällige Fähigkeiten, wie zum Beispiel einen Schuh, mit dem man Gegner aus dem Weg treten kann, oder einen Enterhaken, um den Ball heran zu ziehen. Elf solcher Power-Ups gibt es. Das Update zeigt sich im Trailer und ihr seht eine Liste mit den verschiedenen Fähigkeiten.
Power-Ups im Rumble-Modus:
- The Boot (Kicks an opponent’s car)
- Disruptor (Forces your opponent to drive uncontrollably)
- Freezer (Freezes the ball in-place)
- Grappling Hook (Pulls you towards the ball)
- Haymaker (Punches the ball)
- Magnetizer (Attracts the ball to your car)
- Plunger (Grabs the ball via plunger and cord)
- Power Hitter (Allows you to hit everything harder)
- Spike (Attach the ball to your car when you bump into it)
- Swapper (Change positions on the field with your opponent)
- Tornado (Sweep up the ball and opposing cars into a giant funnel cloud)
