Der Entwickler mit dem Nicknamen 'Macaw45' hat ein Arcade-Spiel aus "Die Simpsons" entwickelt und zum Herunterladen zur Verfügung gestellt. Anders als das in der Serie parodierte "Waterworld"-Game von und mit Kevin Costner, muss man nicht für jeden Schritt 40 'Vierteldollar' hinlegen. Die Real-Life-Version ist nämlich kostenlos, mit der Option zu spenden. Der Witz war in der Serie eine Referenz auf die hohen Produktionskosten des gleichnamigen Filmes aus dem Jahr 1995.
'Macaw45' stellt sein Projekt wie folgt vor:
"A large scale real imagining of the 'fake' Waterworld arcade game that Milhouse plays during a 10 second joke in a 1997 episode of The Simpsons. All the greatest and most memorable parts of the movie are recreated here in Simpsons videogame form!
