Für das erst kürzlich veröffentlichte Actionspiel „Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2“ sind Hinweise auf einen Download-Inhalt aufgetaucht. Der DLC „Revelations“ lässt den Spieler als Alucard spielen. Die Informationen stammen aus Text-Dateien des Spiels.
Wie in den Spieldateien beschrieben wird, soll „Revelations“ einen ganz neue Aspekt von „Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2“ enthüllen. Dabei werden neue Storyzweige und die wahren Beweggründe von Alucard aufgedeckt. Weiterhin heisst es: „ Play as Alucard in this extensive add on for Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2. Eine offizielle Bestätigung gibt es bisher noch nicht, ein Statement bleibt zudem aus. Mercury Steam hatte jedoch vor einiger Zeit behauptet, dass es keine zusätzlichen Inhalte für „Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2“ geben wird.
