Na, wie fandet ihr den Film The Avengers? Ein Kassenschlager ist es jetzt schon, hoffen wir nur noch, dass das dazugehörige Spiel auch einer wird. Ubisoft kündigte nämlich heute offiziell eine Titel namens "Marvel Avengers: Battle for Earth" an.
Wie schon erwähnt, wird Ubisoft Quebec den Titel entwickeln. In "Marvel Avengers: Battle for Earth" geht es um interaktive Umgebungen, die von den Comics und der Storyline der Secret Invasion inspiriert sind.
In der offiziellen Pressemitteilung lies der Vice President of Sales and Marketing von Ubisoft USA Tony Key verlauten:
"We are excited to team up with Marvel Entertainment to bring some of the most iconic comic book characters from the Marvel line-up to life in motion-gaming. Fans of the Marvel universe and superhero games are going to love the extensive combinations of characters, motion-controlled moves and competitive gameplay.”Auch Vizepräsidentin Andreea Enache-Thune von Marvels Digital Distribution verkündete stolz:
“For the last few years, Marvel has positioned itself to deliver the absolute best in entertainment, be it in film, animation, comics or games. Partnering with Ubisoft is a big part of that ongoing movement. We are confident that Ubisoft’s talent matches Marvel’s own commitment to making the Avengers: Battle for Earth the best in the motion-controlled gaming category.”
"Marvel Avengers: Battle for Earth" beinhaltet 20 verschiedene Charaktere wie unter anderem Iron Man, Hulk, Captain America und Thor, als auch andere favorisierte Actionhelden des Marvel-Universums.
Erscheinen wird "Marvel Avengers: Battle for Earth" diesen Herbst für Kinect für Xbox 360 und Nintendos Wii U.
