Sam Fisher bleibt der E3 2018 leider fern, aber laut dem Ubisoft-CEO Yves Guillemot will man "Splinter Cell" zurückbringen.

Obwohl viele Fans davon ausgingen, hat Ubisoft auf seiner E3-Pressekonferenz kein neues "Splinter Cell" gezeigt. In einem Interview mit Geoff Keighley wurde der Ubisoft-Präsident und CEO Yves Guillemot gefragt, warum "Splinter Cell" keinen auftritt hatte.

Während Yves Guillemot seine Liebe zur Marke bekundete, bestätigte er, dass Ubisoft plant, das Franchise zurückkehren zu lassen, aber auf der Messe wollte er nichts weiter dazu sagen. Immerhin sieht es so aus, als ob tatsächlich ein neues "Splinter Cell"-Spiel in Planung ist.
