Das vormals exklusiv für Xbox One erhältliche "Dead Rising 3" wird nun im Sommer auch für PC erscheinen, dies bestätigte Capcom. Ein Ankündigungs-Trailer wurde ebenfalls veröffentlicht.
Ein genauer Veröffentlichungstermin – ausser „Sommer 2014“ – ist jedoch noch nicht bekannt.
Gegenüber der Xbox One-Version des Spiels wurde die PC-Version auch für Widescreen-Bildschirme optimiert und auch die Texturen der Charaktermodell sowie diverse Objekte im Spiel wurden verbessert.
Zudem gab Capcom auch die empfohlenen sowie die Mindestanforderungen für die PC-Version bekannt:
