Bereits im Oktober 2017 wird "ARK: Survival Evolved" mit "Aberration" eine zweite Erweiterung bekommen, wie Studio Wildcard bestätigt hat.
Studio Wildcard hat mit "ARK: Aberration" die zweite Erweiterung für "ARK: Survival Evolved" angekündigt. Sie wird im Oktober 2017 für den PC erscheinen. Das erste Add-On namens "Scorched Earth" ist bereits in der Early-Access-Phase erschienen und hat für sehr viel Kritik gesorgt.
"Aberration" findet auf einer beschädigten und nicht ganz richtig funktionierenden ARK statt. Man erlebt ständige Erdbeben, gefährliche Umgebungen und sogar radioaktives Sonnenlicht. Darüber hinaus gibt es unter der Erdoberfläche viel zu entdecken. Die Kreaturen wurden durch die Strahlung verändert und weisen ungewöhnlichen Fähigkeiten auf. Die Erweiterung ist Teil des Season-Passes oder kann einzeln gekauft werden.
