An was Hangar 13, die Entwickler von "Mafia 3", arbeiten, ist momentan nicht bekannt. Falls es sich um "Mafia 4" handeln sollte, dann bekommt das Spiel womöglich umfangreichere Online-Features spendiert. Das Studio sucht aktuell nach einem "Gameplay Networking Engineer", der sich mit entsprechenden Netzwerk-Techniken auskennen sollte. Erfahrungen mit First- und Third-Person-Shootern sowie Xbox One und PlayStation 4 wären ebenfalls hilfreich.
