Auf seiner Investorenkonferenz hat Nintendo bekannt gegeben, welche amiibo-Charaktere in Europa, Nordamerika und Japan am beliebtesten sind. Während die Japaner zum Beispiel auf die Figuren aus "Splatoon" stehen, ist in Europa Mario besonders beliebt. In Nordamerika hat Link viele Fans. Nintendo hat bereits über 20,5 Millionen amiibo-Figuren verkauft.
