SEGA hat gleich vier Spiele für die Olympischen Sommerspiele in Tokio angekündigt. "Tokyo 2020 Olympics: The Official Video Game" wird im Sommer 2019 für die PlayStation 4 und die Switch erscheinen. Im Winter 2019 wird hingegen "Mario & Sonic at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games" für die Nintendo Switch veröffentlicht. "Mario & Sonic at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games Arcade Game" ist für die Acrade-Hallen gedacht und "Tokyo 2020 Sonic at the Olympic Games" wird im nächsten Jahr auf mobilen Geräten spielbar sein.
