Die "Assassin's Creed"-Serie hat sich in den letzten Jahren für Ubisoft als Eier legende Wollmilchsau herausgestellt und das Unternehmen melkt die Marke, was das Zeug hält. Auch dieses Jahr beglückt uns der Publisher mit einem weiteren Teil der Serie und veröffentlicht eine geplante Releaseliste für das Jahr 2012.
Wurde von vielen Journalisten und Entwicklern das letzte Jahr als das Spielejahr im Zeichen der '3' bezeichnet, findet sich diese Zahl auch im diesjährigen Line-Up von Ubisoft zuhauf. Neben "Assassin's Creed 3", gibt es dieses Jahr noch "Far Cry 3" und drei neue "Tom Clancy"-Spiele.
