Der "Katamari Damacy"-Schöper Keita Takahashi hat "Wattam" in der Entwicklung, das ähnlich abgedreht wirkt. Es wurde heute neu angekündigt.
"Wattam" meldet sich nach zwei Jahren Funkstille zurück. Einst sollte "Wattam" über Sony Interactive Entertainment für die PlayStation 4 erscheinen. Nun haben Annapurna Interactive und der Entwickler Funomena das verschollen geglaubte "Wattam" neu angekündigt. Dieses Mal wird das Spiel im Jahr 2018 für den PC und Konsolen veröffentlicht. Welche Konsolen das sein werden, wurde nicht verraten. PlayStation 4, Xbox One und Switch sind bestimmt in der engeren Auswahl.
"Wattam" stammt von Keita Takahashi, dem Schöpfer von "Katamari Damacy" und "Noby Noby Boy". Und so sieht auch das neue Projekt aus, in dem es darum geht, Freundschaften mit über 100 Charakteren zu schliessen. Ausserdem sind die bunten Explosionen ein wichtiger Bestandteil des Gameplays, mit denen mehr Charaktere angelockt werden. Der Trailer zeigt erste Eindrücke.
